The installation of sprinkler systems is a mandatory requirement in some buildings. If a fire were to break out they are the first line of defence. The maintenance of the system is vital to make sure they are working to their optimal capability, a service is required every 12 months. At Regan Mechanical Services Ltd, our dedicated team carry out our sprinkler system service in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and BS EN 806-5:2012, clause 12.

Our service includes; 

• Testing the pressure and flow rates of the incoming water supply. 
• Visual inspection of the pipework and sprinkler heads to ensure the functionality of pipework is not impeded. 
• All fire alarms linked to the system are tested. 
• Control valves, flow switches, test valves and associated equipment are checked where appropriate and to determine whether any or all modifications have been carried out within British Standards. 
• Inspection of the storage tanks
• Prove correct operation of the pump.
